Prepare For the Jobs of the Future With Fiero Code
Fiero Code is a web-based educational software where kids can learn to make websites, video games, apps, animations, programs and more! Everything about the platform is designed to allow kids to take ownership over their learning experience.
Through the Fiero Code platform, the Lakewood Public Library will provide kids ages 8 – 18 in the community with an engaging experience as they learn how to code, learn to collaborate, learn to communicate, prepare for the jobs of the future, innovate, problem-solve, set goals, and think creatively. This literature based curriculum uses gamification and missions (projects), with hundreds of coding tutorials and dozens of real-world projects. Instruction in Scratch, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python and SQL programming languages are included in this platform and curriculum for Makey Makey and Raspberry Pi maker hardware devices and Ozobot and Sphero codable robots as well.
