Youth Programs

Did you know that children who are read to at an early age are more successful in school and have a larger vocabulary when they enter school? For your budding reader we have a wide variety of age appropriate story time sessions designed to encourage your child’s social, emotional and cognitive development.

For your elementary through middle school age child Lakewood Public Library offers a variety of quality programs that highlight everything from art and Lego building to poetry and role playing.
