Film- The Killers

Two tough guys walk into a late-night diner talking like characters from a Hemingway story–which they are. They’re there to kill the Swede (Burt Lancaster) if he ever shows up. Who is the Swede and why do they want to kill him?  These are questions insurance investigator Jim Reardon (Edmond O’Brien) is trying to answer; but you can be sure of one thing: a deceitful dame (Ava Gardner) has something to do with it.  Terry Meehan introduces each film with an original video followed by audience reaction and a lively discussion.
