Indian Summer Photo Set–Octavio Noda
Octavio Noda is a photographer, film importer and distributor, and retired librarian. He has been a good friend of the Lakewood Public Library, and a friend of many academic, public and school libraries throughout the country. Octavio has spent much of his career making international resources, including films, available to libraries and their patrons.
Join Octavio in this visual exploration of “Indian summer” through the beauty of his nature photography, accompanied by a reading of the namesake poem Indian Summer by Helena Coleman.
Once suitably inspired by Octavio’s art, you are encouraged to visit your local public library to learn more about this period of unusually warm, dry, and calm weather that occurs in autumn, typically in October or November in the Northern Hemisphere.
