Presentation- The Children’s Book Illustrations of Roger Duvoisin

Roger Duvoisin is the Caldecott Medal winning author and illustrator behind some of our happiest picture book memories, including old friends like the Happy Lion, Petunia the silly goose and Veronica the conspicuous hippo. Join Lakewood Library as we celebrate the generous donation of original Duvoisin prints from the Jeanne Marie McGinness family with a discussion about the artist and his legacy by Benjamin Sapp, Director of the University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum- the world’s largest collection of original artwork by children’s book illustrators. 

The original Duvoisin prints will be available for viewing in the Main Library’s lower level
