School Age

Students up through eighth grade may choose from age appropriate programs scheduled after school.  Some programs require registration.  Register online by clicking the register link, stop in at the Children’s and Youth Services desk, or call (216) 226-8275, ext. 140.

Brain Recess: For Students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade

Coloring sheets, puzzles, card games and board games may be sgined out at the Children's and Youth Services desk at the Main Library.

Money Scavenger Hunt: For All Ages

Tuesday, September 5 through Saturday, September 30 in Main Library Children’s and Youth Services. Search the children’s area for money! Actually, you’ll be looking for pictures of money. Add the dollars and coins and write the total on your scavenger hunt sheet. Enter your completed sheet for a prize.

Money! Money! Money! For Students in Third through Fifth Grade

Wednesdays, September 13 through October 4 in the Main Library Activity Room. Do you think you could be a millionaire? Sign up for this four-week board game program and compete for the top spot! Each week a different board game will be played. Monopoly Jr., Pay Day, The Game of Life and a mystery game. Points will be awarded to determine a winner.

Space Scavenger Hunt: For All Ages

Wednesday, November 1, 2017 through Thursday, November 30, 2017 in Main Library Children’s and Youth Services. Children are invited to participate in a space scavenger hunt by looking for space-related pictures, such as planets and astronauts, placed throughout the children’s area of the Library. Enter your completed scavenger hunt sheet in a drawing for a prize! No  registration is required.
