Film - Forrest Gump (1994) Directed by Robert Zemeckis

Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) is a simple man who makes up for his lack of intelligence with good intentions and a whole lot of heart. The boy from Alabama runs through life and accidentally achieves greatness along the way. His ability to be in the right place at the right time leads him to a life filled with success: meeting presidents, earning medals, starting a ping-pong craze, creating a fleet of shrimping boats, and inspiring the people he meets. Despite his accolades, there is only one person Forrest wants to impress: his childhood friend and true love Jenny (Robin Wright). Based on the 1986 novel by Winston Groom, this film continues our series of movies based on books.
