Asunder: A Novel Approach to Divorce Recovery Book by Kathryn Haueisen

After thirty years of marriage, Ellie is shocked and hurt when her husband leaves her. She realizes she must come to grips with her emotional journey to discover a new way to live. When she meets the charming Liam, she finds a glimmer of hope. Through a family crisis Ellie soon learns that the post-divorce world means finding her own way, with the help of family and new friends, whom Ellie meets after joining a Library book club in Cleveland.  Kathy Haueisen grew up near Cleveland, along Lake Erie. She earned a degree in journalism at Bowling Green State University, where she met her future husband. Their two adult daughters have grown the family to include eight delightful young people. Since earning a Master of Divinity from Wartburg Theological Seminary in 1985 she has been serving the Lutheran church community in a variety of settings. Her published works includes articles for magazines and newspapers about family life, travel, history, devotions and fascinating people. She and her husband live in Houston, TX. Books will be available for sale and signing at the event.
